Terry Saban, Britt and Anderson named to Stillman board of trustees

Tuscaloosa, Ala. - Stillman College's board of trustees has announced the selection of three new members:


Terry Saban, the CEO co-founder of Nick’s Kids Foundation and wife of University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban;


Katie Boyd Britt, the president and CEO of the Business Council of Alabama and a graduate of the University of Alabama;


and James D. Anderson, internationally-recognized African American education scholar, dean of the College of Education-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Stillman College alum.


The three new trustees will serve a three-year term and will be charged first and foremost with continuing the school's mission to "train and educate students who will become tomorrow's leaders" said Rasheda Workman, Stillman's vice president for strategic initiative and board of trustees liaison.


The 24-member board of trustees comprises of local, state, and national leaders across diverse careers and expertise. Board members can be considered for a second three-year term before rolling off of the board.
